Position: Market Data Administrator

Outsource UK are actively seeking to recruit a Market Data Administrator for a 3 month contract with a financial services client who we are working with as a first tier supplier. As the Data Administrator you would be responsible for the following:
Typical Duties
- Invoice management and reconciliation within the FITS service
- Creation of Purchase Orders within internal systems
- Payment of invoices within the internal payment system and liaison with accounts payable to ensure all invoices are paid on time without disruption to service
- Escalation of invoice discrepancies with vendor in order to receive appropriate Credit Notes
- Use of DACS or other vendor permissioning systems to enable new service or exchanges
- Use of Bloomberg On-line ordering system to manage accounts, terminals and b-units
- Management of new starter pipeline to ensure all services provided within timescales
- Liaising with vendors concerning organising trials/demos of new services and providing improved service to business areas
- Liaising with Middle Office and business areas to discuss requirements, provide information of existing and future market data services and increase awareness of Market Data Services.
- Costs and savings analysis
- Develop and implement procedures to ensure controls are in place for the procurement and payment of Market Data Services
- Provide business with regular cost reports
Skills
- Extensive knowledge and experience of FITS
- Good working knowledge of DACS
- Good working knowledge of Bloomberg on-line ordering system
- Experience of Market Data procedures and reporting
- Understanding of financial Market Data
- Good understanding of dealing room market data functionality, user requirements and ability to map this against existing and future service needs
- Good knowledge of Market Data vendors and products (especially Bloomberg, Reuters, exchange data and specialist data)
- Advanced understanding of financial Market Data (content and delivery)
- Awareness of major market data delivery platforms (RMDS, etc)
