Award winning Engineering consultancy firm are currently looking to fill a Project Engineer position, to work in their offices in Gloucestershire (commutable from Bristol, Bath, Swindon, Reading).
Candidates will have the following skills:
Minimum 10 years experience in a range of sectors, preferably nuclear, but which should include high integrity/safety critical sectors eg power generation, petrochemicals, Oil & Gas.
5 years of this experience should be in a Project Engineer role.
Experience should include different phases of the project life cycle, such as:
Project start up, definition, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, handover and close out.
Co-ordination of engineering disciplines working to industry standards and to a certified quality management system.
Possess good communication skills and be able to conduct meetings and reviews with Client personnel with minimal supervision.
Desired Experience:
Degree qualification in relevant engineering discipline. HND/HNC considered with experience in lieu.
Chartered Engineer.
Associate Membership of relevant engineering institution desirable. Should be working toward full Membership and chartered status through CPD.
Multi-discipline project experience.
Familiar with planning and Workhour control.
Self starter and safety aware.
Track record of successful completion of projects.
Experience of working in an integrated Project Team (involving Client/Contractor/Key Vendors) would be an advantage.
