Role Overview:
We are looking for a Flex/ColdFusion Development Expert responsible for full project cycle (design, development, QA support, production deployment, post-production support) for a large US telecommunications company. The primary function is development and support of an enterprise level Datawarehouse. Responsible for major project enhancements driven by business needs (full life cycle of a project from gathering requirements to providing sustainment to production, including design, peer reviews, providing testing strategy for the project developed, coding, unit testing and QA support during pre-production). Provide quick workarounds and solutions; solve defects and production issues with minimal impact on business Tune the applications to achieve maximum hardware support and minimize the execution time
Requirements:
Excellent ColdFusion Ajax development skills
Strong knowledge of Flex charting to produce drillable charts
Working knowledge of integration between Flex and ColdFusion Working knowledge of Oracle, PL/SQL Working knowledge of UNIX and Shell Scripting Experience working with SSIS packages
Working knowledge of MVC
Preferences:
Knowledge of JavaScript and HTML Knowledge in Cold Spring and Mach-II preferred but not required Ability to apply technology solutions to business problems
