An exciting opportunity exists for a highly experienced PMO Manager to get on board with this large commercial organisation.
The Role:
- Manage PMO staff and the accurate and timely delivery of outputs.
- Manage the development, weekly maintenance and reporting of the integrated program schedule, project issues and risks in conjunction with the program project managers.
- Manage the program budgets, cost control, monthly actual updates and variance reporting.
- Manage the project scope change and variation process.
- Manage the reporting cycle including preparing reports for the various governance groups (Steering Committee, Implementation Boards, Project Control Group).
- Maintain quality assurance of the program deliverables and manage the control of program documents.
- Provide support for the recruitment process including preparation of position descriptions, liaising with service providers, receipting of CVs, scheduling of interviews, recording and communication of interview outcomes.
- Manage office accommodation and facilities
- Manage procurement, receipting and payment processes.
- Manage the general program administration services.
The Person:
- Extensive knowledge & proven experience of IT program office management encompassing the accountabilities above.
- Proven team management and leadership skills in motivating, challenging and driving creative and goal-focused teams in achieving program outcomes.
- Knowledge of processes and system functions related to project accounting and procurement.
- High level of oral and written communication skills, consultation and negotiation skills.
Desirable:
- Experience with Oracle project, procurement and accounting functions.
