*General Buyer*

A Large Utilities Client based in Warwick is looking for a General Buyer to join them to support the development of and to implement end-to-end category management strategies. Candidates must have previous experience of acting as a General Buyer across Services, Legal, HR, Occupational Health with a strong understanding of the entire End-2-End life cycle.

The successful Buyer will be required to offer:
- Expertise in category management
- Strong knowledge of the strategic sourcing process
- Highly effective management of suppliers
- Proficient in stakeholder management and communications
- Expert experience using analytical tools and techniques
- Strong presentation skills
- Able to work both independently and as part of a category team
- Able to work across all functions and levels of an organisation
- Degree standard or equivalent experience
- Proven experience at buyer level
- Responsibility for financial expenditure (OPEX/REPEX/CAPEX) from £1 million to £250 million with approval of Senior Category Manager (UK)
- Close working relationships are required with a number of major interfaces, namely:
- Category Manager and Senior Category Manager (UK)
- Procurement Assistant and/or Assistant Buyer (Procurement) to execute required systems entry and contracts
- Customers and Stakeholders, LoB who require the specified purchases as part of the day-to-day operating requirements
