Solutions Architect - IBM WAS/MQ/Broker
Our client a global insurance organisation is looking for a Solutions Architect to join IT system development team. This new system implementation will provide a consolidated application for a wide variety of insurance products sold direct to the Customer. Responsible for working closely with the business and IT development teams to provide technical support, advice and solution design for systems development work.
The successful applicant for this role will be able to:
- Investigate, evaluate and decide on appropriate business solutions, having an in depth knowledge of constructing business technical solutions and providing technical solution options
- Explore new IT solutions and methodologies.
- Define, manage and successfully achieve project objectives.
- Use appropriate business tools to support the role
Responsibilities:
- S pecifying the architecture of a high throughput, fast response time B2B channel from partner sites
- R epresenting Retail at the Business Architecture Steering Group
- Capacity Planning
- T o specify the architecture for a Corporate PCI compliant Payment Web Site
- T o improve web site performance
Technical Skills Required:
IBM Websphere Application Server/MQ/Broker, JSF, Web Services, SOAP, Spring, XML, Rational Software Architect, Clearcase, Oracle 11G Db,
