Senior Infrastructure Engineer: Windows Environment, Active Directory, Exchange, LAN/WAN, Cisco
We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to lead a team of 6. You will be responsible for the engineering, architecture and support of company Network infrastructure and hardware, data center, and server platforms (hardware and OS).
Responsibilities:
- Implement complex hardware and software upgrades to meet capacity requirements
- Perform complex configuration changes to increase network coverage and performance
- Provide advanced technical support to assist the Technical Team in the resolution of faults. Act as a
point of escalation - Analyze and rectify complex faults on the network to meet defined service levels
- Implement and manage Network Security related but not limited to Industry Best Practices, PCI and
SOX - Support network investigation/performance routines to ensure network availability
- Liaison with 3rd parties, customers and site providers to ensure completion of tasks
- Perform support tasks for the business to provide network availability
- Analyze, create and report on project implementation plans to minimize risk to network availability
Requirements:
- Experience designing, implementing and supporting large Microsoft Windows and Active Directory environments
- Working knowledge of LAN and WAN concepts in a Cisco/other environment.Experience with a variety of LAN/WAN hardware such as Routers, Firewalls, Switches, etc.
- Experience supporting Linux/Unix required.Experience working with SANS required
- Experience supporting Microsoft Exchange environments
- Experience working with Help Desk or Desktop support staff and business stakeholders
- Experience and proficient in Network Security related but not limited to industry Best Practices, PCI and SOXProject management skills
- Technical Documentation skills.Experience supporting mid to large scale data center environment
