My client is looking for an experienced IT Technical Security Analyst to join their Financial Organisation. You will be required to review new and existing IT Solutions to ensure security risks are identified, assessed and mitigated in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.
About the role:
- Assess and evaluate IT risks in new solutions and technologies to ensure that all new application and infrastructure solutions are secure and compliant with company and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and review security policies and procedures to strengthen the IT security management framework.
- Identify, assess and mitigate IT security risks across the organisation.
- Perform auditing activities for all facets relating to IT to ensure compliance to company policies and procedures.
- Be the subject matter expert for security related activities across IT and provide guidance to the IT delivery teams.
Keys Skills Required:
- A background in the Financial Industry would be highly regarded, CISSP qualification would be ideal.
- Previous experience developing security policies, performing security analysis and recommending security solutions.
- A sound understanding of information architecture design and networking including DMZ, Firewalls, Routers, Switches Proxy Servers, VPN, intrusion management, email and identity management.
