Position Description:
The ideal candidate will have 6 years of Project Management experience in leading complex projects including risk management, critical path project planning, and budget forecasting.
The position will provide leadership of various technology projects including upgrades to General Accounting applications, Infrastructure upgrades, Vendor developed software, and various Revenue Cycle related applications in HealthCare environments. Required to know or learn Client's program and process methodology and to execute it within the established organizational framework and oversight processes.
Duties include: requirements gathering, planning, control, communication, risk analysis, quality assurance, team and vendor management, and implementation. Candidate will also document project deliverables, scope and content, as well as provide leadership and direction for assigned business areas, contracts, vendors and consultants. Samples of past requirement
documentation written is preferred.
The responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:
- Coordinate and lead cross-functional IT teams to deliver projects across full
project life cycle. - Coordinate, facilitate, and monitor milestones and budgets for assigned
projects. - Communicate critical paths and mitigate risks to implementation.
- Ability to provide forecast, actual, and variance budget tracking.
- Gathering and documenting detailed requirements.
- Provide analysis and consulting to key business partners.
- Previous experience (within the last two years) working in the Healthcare
industry is required. Work on financial systems and/or revenue cycle related
projects is a plus. - PMI certification is required.
- Work on multiple projects and tasks at various phases.
- Develop relationships with business partners as part of project delivery
success. - Detail orientation and good organizational skills.
- Good customer service orientation. Good interpersonal skills.
- Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, including
conflict resolution and meeting facilitation skills. - Expert proficiency in using MS Office products especially MS Project.
