Description
Provide analysis, design, and programming support for the Asset Management application. Works with a team consisting of technical and functional analysts focused on the delivery of service/products related to a client Asset Management system.Minimum Education (Indicate minimum education or degree required.)
4-year degree in Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience
Bachelor's degree MS or equivalent technical training
5-7 years programming accountability with increasing levels of responsibility
5-7 years experience with visual programming and Scripting languages
3-5 years experience working with relational database systems (DB2, Oracle or SQL)
3-5 years experience in system administration of both Unix and Windows platforms
Excellent responsiveness and reliability
Experience managing a wide-range of activities and projects
Regularly contributes to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to communicate ideas to both business and technical people.

Provide analysis, design, and programming support for the Asset Management application. Works with a team consisting of technical and functional analysts focused on the delivery of service/products related to a Kaiser Permanente Asset Management system.
1. For development, majority of time is spent coding using independently-chosen methods to meet client/user specifications, conducting non-routine maintenance activities and guiding lower-level teammates.
2. Troubleshoots technical problems and conducts analyses for efficient program/application solutions which support client business processes and functional requirements.
3. May provide input to estimate requirements for project plans.
