Description
A leading and prestigious fashion retail business based in London is looking to recruit a Credit Controller with SAP experience on a temporary basis
The Credit Control role will be responsible for the following:
* To allocate and bank all cash received into the business on a regular basis
* To distribute monthly statements to customers
* To handle credit control issues in multiple currencies, for multiple countries
* To ensure that sales ledger debtors pay amounts owed to the company on the due date, including the speedy resolutions of any queries or claims in liaison with the customer services team, subject to internal authority limits
* To process authorised debit notes and/or issue authorised credits in line with company procedures
* To ensure that doubtful debts are followed up according to the company's procedure including referral to outside agencies for collection, to ensure any loss to the company is minimised
* To control the opening of new accounts, ensuring that the company procedures are followed and proper authorisation is obtained
* To produce information about customer performance etc. for review by the accountant and subsequent publication to the sales executives and management
* To provide cover for other department members as the need arises
In order to be considered for the role you will:
* Have worked in a credit control position for the last 2 years
* Have managed a Credit Ledger of 150+ key accounts in a previous role
* Have used SAP extensively (ESSENTIAL)
* Have strong excel skills
* Be eligible to work in the UK and be currently living in London
