My client a large Bank based around the Docklands is seeking a delivery focused Finance Business Partner to join their team.
This is a maternity cover role that will require the selected individual to commit to 9 - 12 months. The purpose of the role is to:
* Understanding the drivers of the business both current and proposed so as to drive rapid and successful growth of the business.
* To work within Cluster as a Finance Business Partner for Business area.
* To identify and foster best practice in finance areas.
* Playing a leading role in the leadership and management of the area, this includes driving business and financial performance through the setting financial strategy, integrating it with the business strategy and setting appropriate targets and challenges.
* Providing fit for purpose and highly effective performance management information and supporting key business decisions through providing detailed analysis of the financial implications of such decisions.
The ideal candidate will be:
* a qualified accountant (or equivalent)
* experienced in working within IT Finance/the technology division of a large business
* able to understand the financial detail and simplify this to explain to the Senior Management
