DESCRIPTION
The Network Services/Support consultant will provide remote troubleshooting of cell site related issues with emphasis on sector and cell sites OOS restoration (Ericsson, Alcatel-Lucent, Nokia, Siemens, and Nortel RAN platforms).

Responsibilities
  • Process reports to identify Chronic RAN issues and facilitating timely repair.
  • Escalate cell site outages and facilitates to accomplish timely repair and improve MTTR.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years RAN experience that includes the troubleshooting and repair of Cell Site/BSC/RNC type issues
  • Understanding of transport technologies (T1/T3/ATM/Ethernet) RF
  • Lucent UMTS experience
  • Nokia GSM experience
  • Nortel GSM skills
  • Experience NRC/NOC environment
  • Knowledge of CTS trouble ticketing system
  • Ericsson GSM & UMTS experience desired
  • Performance Engineering experience is desired but not required
  • 24X7 On-call responsibilities when scheduled
  • Will require weekend work hours
