Senior Web Based Business Systems Analyst
Location: San Francisco

1. Minimum Job-Specific Skills/Qualifications Required:
• Experience with implementation of web services architecture and technologies
• Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to breakdown complex ideas into manageable pieces
• Ability to define and document system integration requirements for specific implementations
• Ability to work with the business users to develop written business requirements analysis and functional design specifications
• Ability to develop and foster relationships with vendors and justice partners
• Ability to identify and evaluate alternative solutions, costs and benefits
• Experience in project management for small to medium sized projects
• Equivalent to possession of a bachelor’s degree, preferably with major course work in computer science, and four years of experience in the analysis, design, and development of applications and other information systems. Additional experience may be substituted for the education on a year-for-year basis. Possession of a directly related postgraduate degree may be substituted for one year of experience.
2. Additional Skills/Qualifications Desired:
• Experience with the National Information Exchange Model - NIEM
• Experience with TIBCO products
• Experience in court operations and processes
• Problem-solving and conflict resolution methods and techniques.
• Principles of information systems architecture for enterprise-wide systems deployment such as multi-tier, distributed and client/server system architecture and development principles, and internet/intranet application delivery mechanisms.
• Principles and techniques of analyzing and documenting functional business requirements.
• Communicate technical software and hardware issues to non-technical users and executive management.
• Use initiative and judgment within established procedural guidelines.
• Organize, prioritize, and coordinate multiple work activities and meet procedural guidelines.
• Document the business requirements to be used in the evaluation, development, and/or acquisition of information management systems by an organization.
Description of Tasks and Responsibilities
1 Plan and conduct the business process analysis to system mapping design, testing and functional documentation of new and existing automated systems;
2 Work with other business systems analysts, application managers and development teams to achieve business objectives and maintain client satisfaction.
3 Works closely with business users to ensure best practices and adherence to the Software development Life Cycle (SDLC)
4.Provide lead direction and work review of project staff and/or performs and coordinates complex and specialized work.
