We have a great contract Citrix Administrator opportunity for a large client of ours in the South Tech Center area. This client is close to I25 with easy access to 470 as well. Get some great experience and work with a fun team with this opportunity.
Summary:
The server team manages a Citrix XenApp 5.0 environment that supports over three hundred and fifty concurrent users. This environment consists of ninety seven Servers with two hundred seventy four published applications, fifty four published desktops, and forty streamed applications. The management of this environment was performed by two colleagues located in the Englewood office. With the loss of our primary Citrix administrator all work is falling on the backup administrator to support several high profile application and development efforts.
Job Description/General Job Duties:
Participate in developing guidelines and procedures in areas such as LAN/WANs, network services, data storage, architecture and/or desktop environment as they relate to the Citrix environment and communicating those to the user community.
Provide technical support and problem resolution on complex issues in one or more of the following areas: Servers, networking, storage, Datacenters or desktop environment as they relate to the Citrix environment.
Provide customer facing support service to internal colleagues
Manage small to medium-sized projects or portions of large projects and assist in resolving issues and planning for new applications and services.
Identify and recommend opportunities to improve and enhance communication services to internal customers.
Monitor and report to management on program status, identify issues that may impede attainment of goals, recommend and implement corrective measures.
Provide technical direction and training to more junior Technical Services personnel.
Required Experience/Skills:
5 - 8 Years working in Enterprise Citrix environments. This includes XenApp and XenDesktop design and support for large organization. Must have an understanding of Windows Servers, VMware, and NetApp storage environments.
Qualifications:
Citrix CCA certifications
