Senior Statistician - Phase I-II
Based in South East, UK
£ Excellent Rate/hour - Dependant on Experience

Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
* Provides statistical consultancy for the design and analysis of clinical projects and/or studies
* Provides statistical input into and reviews clinical protocols and CRFs to ensure that both documents meet the requirements of the study including writing the statistical methodology section of the protocol
* Writes reviews and manages the Statistical Analysis Plan (SAP) including detailed description of statistical methods planned for the analysis of data and table, listing and figure shells describing the planned statistical outputs. Chair analysis planning meetings with internal and external customers (as appropriate)
* Writes programs to perform inferential statistical analyses according to the requirements of the SAP. Responsible for the specification, programming and statistical reporting of integrated summaries

Essential Skills & Capabilities:
* Minimum of a degree (B.Sc.) or equivalent in Medical Statistics or minimum of a degree (or equivalent) in Statistics/Mathematics in conjunction with at least 5 year's experience in the application of statistics in clinical trials at a CRO, pharma company or academic institution.
* Excellent experience in SAS programming
* Knowledge in Bayesian statistics would be desirable.
