DESCRIPTIONThe Network Services/Support consultant will receive inbound requests for Ericsson Node B resets from RF Performance and field organizations as well as requests from internal MNRC indicators. Will also respond to market requests for single cell site issues and monitor alarms and work CTS tickets.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the integrity of numerous network elements RNC, BSC, BTS & UMTS.
- Utilize troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve complex system hardware/software problems.
- Assist Wireless Technicians and vendors with restoration activities when service impairments occur.
- Execute engineering work orders.
- Utilize Ericsson UMTS (WCDMA) OSS applications such as AMOS, CEX, Element Manager and NSA.
- Fulfill requests to perform JVM Restarts for reasons such as hanging UL CEs and hung alarms.
- Run both pre and post Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for nightly planned maintenance work.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Need to be very knowledgeable on Ericsson UMTS & GSM equipment.
- Radio Access Network expertise.
- General Computer skills.
