The MIS Team sits within the Group Operations division who's remit is to provide centralised operations services to all platforms and international offices. In addition, Group Operations manage and develop the range of facilities covered by the organisations Shared Service centre.

Key Responsibilities
*Coaching and mentoring the Team manager in the areas of Team management and general management skills and the technical options available in the wider marketplace.
*Review of MIS Team processes to identify areas of opportunity for improvement.
*Working closely with the MI programme, resulting in an enhancement of the MI delivered to the Group
*Day to day management of the Group Operations MIS team:
Acting as the Primary point of contact for Reporting issues raised across the business.
*Work with the business and CITO to agree both the development and rationalisation of reports across the Group.
*Build, implement and strategize the foundations of the MI vision to help support the future of MI provisions.

Required Skills
*Extensive experience of managing and motivating teams within a variety of MI environments
*Previous experience of insurance would be most desirable
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills
*Highly motivated and able to work on own initiative as well as a strong team player. The candidate will have to work well in pressurised situations
*Excellent knowledge of Excel essential
*Knowledge of Microsoft ProClarity desirable
*Knowledge of Informatica Business Objects desirable
*Good coaching and People management skills
