Interim Project Manager, General Insurance, Central London, 6 month initial contracts.
Panoramic Associates are urgently looking for a Project Manager on behalf of a growing insurance client in Central London who, as part of their preparations for Solvency II, are recruiting an individual for an initial 6 month contract with the strong likelihood of extensions beyond this.
They are interested in hearing from Project Managers from within the general insurance industry and ideally from individuals who have had current or recent experience working for London market/Lloyd's market firms. The role will ideally suit a business Project Manager who has experience of delivering projects where there has been an actuarial element so that they have an appreciation of how the actuarial work stream fits in to the Solvency II programme. This role will be project managing the internal model development process and so whilst an understanding of actuarial concepts within GI firms is would be useful, it is not necessary for you to be a subject matter expert or a qualified actuary yourself. An understanding of the processes within the underwriting, claims or finance functions will also be hugely beneficial.
