Description
Unix Administrator with strong knowledge and experience supporting AIX platforms required for a highly regarded global company to work as part of a talented Unix technical team.
As Unix Administrator you will perform system monitoring, identify impacts to client services and follow documented operational procedures and processes. You will determine appropriate actions in response to impacts independently, providing support and guidance to your team. This is a varied role covering a range of responsibilities.
To be successful in this Unix Administrator role you will have a background in Computer science, related discipline or equivalent work experience:
The ability to work in a high pressure environment meeting demanding customer service levels
Experience with AIX
Itil knowledge (desirable)
Solid hands on experience in Unix administration
