Electrical Engineer, Power Engineering, Cable Design
Electrical Engineer with sound experience as an electrician and able to produce detailed schematic drawings for low voltage cable design. Hailing from a Construction, Rail or Underground background. Or better a power engineering background your must be proficient in Electrical Engineering and comfortable reading electrical panel drawings.
The cabling Electrical Engineer will typically be required to produce:
- Calculations in accordance with British Standards
- Block Cable Diagrams for power, control and instrumentation
- Design and specification for power distribution and control equipment
- Verification of systems
With some project engineering offered the Electrical Engineer will be providing detailed control cable designs for clients in the south of the UK. Occasional client site visits required (about twice a month).
This is a friendly company of 30 staff offering the successful electrical engineer an opportunity to progress to a more senior role as the company expands. They fully support further training and qualifications if desired. This is an open plan office with no politics allowing you to get on with your job!
