Change Management Analyst
Provides expert business analysis in support of designated initiatives. Responsible for auditing and evaluating the change management process of a business. Leads communication planning and communication activities resulting from a new project implementation. Must possess a deep knowledge of one or more of the following: business process improvement, designing business architectures, change program management, or people/organizational change management. Able to articulate the organizational transformation while working closely with key stakeholders. Must possess excellent communications skills and manage multiple stakeholders. Able to analyze the request for change and recommend a course of action and deliver in a timely manner. Experience Level: BA or BS in related field required; minimum 3+ years of direct relevant experience.

POSITION TITLE: Business Analyst
The Business Analyst will play a central role in the achievement of WIM project and ITAM program goals by helping to ensure the appropriate focus and rigor required to support the people side of change is in place through communication and/or training planning and execution. The analyst will also support the functional leader and managers in delivering program messages and status.

Knowledge & Experience 3+ years:
Experience in participation on teams implementing large scale cross organizational initiatives
Expertise in translating and simplifying multiple ideas, complex details and/or technical concepts into easy to understand written messages from the customers perspective
Experience with organizational change principles; can identify strategies and apply a structured change management approach at a tactical level for the people side of change
Experience with organizational change in an Information Technology or Finance organization
Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project life cycle

Knowledge & Experience a Plus:
Knowledge of designing and developing training materials
Training experience
Knowledge of asset management life cycle processes and operations
Knowledge/experience in process improvement

Roles and Responsibilities:
Serve as a communication subject matter expert and coordinate across the program to support the project and overall program messaging
May serve as a member of a project team ensuring effective change management principles are applied and aligned to overall program strategy and communication
Support the management, maintenance and continuous improvement for the Program Web-site
Support the timely delivery of the many Business Management Office requests of the functional organization
Support and provide coordination for the functional leader and managers in the development of presentation materials, meeting planning and meeting preparation
Develop and provide expertise into the development of communication plans and organizational change strategy based on a situational awareness of the details of the change and the groups being impacted by the change from a project and/or program perspective to ensure successful implementation
Support project and/or program manager in identifying potential people-side risks and anticipated points of resistance, and develop specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns.
Facilitate meetings, working sessions and/or train and manage participant interaction in-person or using a virtual collaboration tool
Quickly develop an understanding of the business processes impacted and how to integrate processes into communication and training eg role based, user perspective
As needed, work with project team and/or program manager to integrate organizational change management activities into the overall project plan.
May be required to identify and manage the measurement of successful organizational change
As required, lead or participate in the development of training materials including identifying audience, content and integrate processes; role based training
Help lead the transition of the department to a single SharePoint site and then help support sustaining processes

Hours of the position:
8 day/40 week

Experience Requirements:

Pleasanton, CA Campus building F first floor
As a rule onsite daily - remote work by exception

Scope of the project:
Training/communication required to sustain benefits, initially with the Workstation Inventory Project in 2011
Transitioning to the Hardware Asset Management and Software Asset Management efforts in 2012.
Support ITAM program
ITAM Program- Improve IT Asset management processes and capabilities throughout the Asset Management Lifecycle.
WIM -Work Station Inventory Management project: Inventory levels assessed; standard's defined to enable redeployment of in-stock workstations and reduce inventory levels and unnecessary purchases across all 38 service areas; maintain sustaining processes
HAM - Hardware Asset Management Project: Implement technology-level integration across key systems of records that will simplify/automate exchange of key data elements required for managing assets
SAM - Software Asset management Project: Implement SAM capability to track and manage licenses/entitlements; optimize software usage and improve planning abilities for software assets
