Description
The Change Management (CM) Planning role in Project Services is a newly created role. Its main focus is to support the CM Director in milestone and dependency management, as well as managing the top priority projects within the Large Tier 1, Investment Bank
This VP will be responsible for:
- Managing the overall plans for the most critical project activities within the Investment Bank
- Aggregating plan data from all programs, projects and activities within our portfolio to develop a comprehensive plan which can be represented in a digestible way to stakeholders at all levels
- Driving active dependency management
- Benefits tracking
- Coordinating inputs from multiple departments
- Driving the development of the change management function
- Ongoing communication management with project managers and senior stakeholders as to the status of activities
Project Services provides skilled project management resources to lead the Investment Bank's cross divisional, cross departmental, high risk, high priority initiatives. Our Project Managers are fully accountable for the delivery of assigned initiatives, typically from start-up through delivery.
Essential
- Graduate with 2.i degree
- Significant project/planning/programme management experience with a leading consulting firm within financial services or in an international investment bank
- Strong project planning skills
- Extensive analytical experience with the ability to think creatively
- Experience in Programme Office work ie Project planning, Risk and issue management, Status reporting and Steering committee management
- Track record in delivering major projects in an investment bank or similar institution
- Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel
- Strong knowledge of investment banking business processes - front to back
- Ease in dealing with senior management
