A Bachelors Degree is preferred for this role, however candidates with the correct experience will be considered.

Bachelors degree and 10+ years progressive work related experience with demonstrated proficiency in multiple disciplines/processes related to the position or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience. Demonstrated knowledge and experience with web based languages such as .NET, JAVA or J2EE. Solid experience as a Team Lead providing team leadership to less experience developers and serving as the point for all top level technical issues. Provides direction in the development and maintenance of application programs as well as participates in various phases of the development cycle. Ensures development adheres to performance optimization, interoperability standards and requirements, and compliance with IT governance.

Summary of Project
IRM Technical Lead
Implement Integrated Risk Management (IRM) system to create a streamlined operational risk management process that produces quantified ratings leveraging existing Operational Risk, Assurance and Compliance Management activities.

Goal is to implement IBM Open Pages tool
Interface to GL to pull data either nightly or weekly (ie account name, account #, cost center, loss event, etc)
Creation of a comparative tool for org structure changes (IPPMS)
Open Pages risks and controls link (hyperlink) to policy and procedure (which are held in a repository)

Technical Lead Job Description

software engineering experience implementing packaged applications
Experience with programming XML, Java using OO concepts, in a commercial environment.
Medium-sized project management and technical leadership experience.
Familiarity in working within, and defining, a structured project delivery methodology.
Ability to facilitate and perform business and application requirements gathering sessions.
Ability to work with infrastructure personnel on platform requirements and installation procedures
Experience with virtual environments
Database support experience (SQL, Oracle, etc.)
Ability to follow vendor provided instructions, scripts, directions (ie installation, configuration, hotfix, etc.)
Ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues involving networking, database, and windows Servers
Ability to work with vendor support, providing them issue background and remote access support as needed
Data migration approach review
Assist with data migration mapping
In-depth understanding of Web Applications, Oracle database, and J2EE Application Server technology, including JSPs, Servlets, IBM WebSphere/BEA WebLogic.
Excellent interpersonal communications and technical writing skills.
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Familiarity in working within a structured project delivery methodology including completion of the following types of deliverables:
o Technical Design Document
o Application Support Playbook
o Implementation Plan
Ability to successfully support multiple priorities

Nice to have requirements for all roles:

Familiarity with Risk Management, Business Intelligence, Corporate Governance, Data Asset Management and/or Business Process Management solutions.
Familiarity/Experience in the Financial Services Industry.
Hands-on experience deploying financial applications.
