An exciting opportunity exists for a number of Test Managers to join this large Federal government body in Canberra to start ASAP until June 2012. You will assist in the development, assessment and implementation of testing methodologies, tools and techniques relating to the system testing process across all system development life cycle for all IT applications.
Your responsibilities will involve but not limited to the following;
- Provide high quality specialist advice and knowledge of best testing practices and disciplines and methodologies across a wide range of IT Solutions Projects and Releases
- Organise and facilitate training of testing techniques and processes to IT Solutions Branch staff
- Review all estimates for project based activities
- Assist Program Managers and Team Leaders with the determining of client requirements for all new systems and/or enhancements to existing systems, including various hardware platforms and software tools
- Oversee and assist the testing staff undertaking all functional testing processes
- 3+ years experience as a Test Manager is MANDATORY
- Ability to manage staff to undertake testing components, and organise and facilitate training of testing techniques and processes across the system development life cycle process
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of best testing practices and disciples across a wide range of IT Solutions Projects and Releases
- Well developed communication skills
