Description
SAS Administrator
- Location: Cranston, RI; 60% onsite, 40% offsite
- Financial Services experience desired
- Experience with risk rating engines and enterprise case management implementations a plus
- Experience with the following SAS topology: There are four application tiers plus a database tier:
- SAS Mid-Tier: WebSphere, Web Report Studio, Portal, Web Services, Spellcheck, ECM Webapp, SAS Remote Services, etc.
- SAS Compute Tier: SAS OLAP Server, SAS Analytics Platform, scripts for loading data into the SAS model, running rules and loading cases/events to ECM (via webservices).
- ECM Compute Tier: Similar to SAS Compute Tier, but with more ECM-centric processing
- SAS Metadata Tier: SAS Metadata Server (manages user and application administration, among other things
- Oracle Database Tier
- Operating System: AIX
- Databases: Oracle (managed and secured by internal database team), multiple schemas for different applications.
- SAS Version: 9.2
- Midtier: WebSphere 7.0 (administrator responsible for management of midtier)
- User Authentication: AD/Microsoft LDAP
- Encryption: will be using SSL on MidTier
- SAS Security framework: within SAS, it is managed by Group and Role management as defined in the SAS Management Console
- Network Storage for permanent SAS datasets: SAN
- Logging standards: strict logging requirements exist due to the presence of sensitive data on the Servers. Logging requirements are documented by the types of operations that are required to be logged (user login, data read/write, etc.)
- Output data and reports: to be available/consumed through the web application, and others as flat files.
