JOB TITLE. Construction (Motorway or Airports) Planner
REPORTS TO: Bid Manager
LOCATION: Chiswick
CLIENT:
You will be working for one of the World's leading infrastructure groups, focussed on end-to-end infrastructure management, design, construction, financing, operation and maintenance. This role is working within the London operation, based at Chiswick
JOB PURPOSE:
To provide planning and programming services to bids within the UK business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
To plan works and activities for bids within the business to ensure delivery to timescale
To liaise with managers, subcontractors, clients, partners and suppliers to ensure plans are appropriate and realistic
To follow the business planning processes to ensure efficiency and value for money
To provide regular status reports on allocated bids to managers to ensure they are aware of progress
To highlight any risks, issues or barriers to management and to facilitate preventative action
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
Planning experience
Microsoft project and P6
Good information technology and systems skills
Experience of working in a cost conscious environment
Experience in motorway and/or airports construction
