Contract Database Programmer
Responsibilities:
· The Contract Database Programmer is r esponsible for all phases of database programming within Enterprise Systems as assigned
· Provide support for company business systems as assigned, including diagnosis and troubleshooting of operational issues
· Coordinate activities with project managers, business analysts and enterprise architects as appropriate
· Code, test, debug and document programs according to detailed specifications
· Work with the client and project systems analysts during creation of specifications
· Develop and maintain documentation for developed systems and/or programs
· S upport and maintain existing systems through on-going development effort and problem resolution
· When required, work with software vendors to resolve technical or logic problems
· Work with business owners to evaluate and test impact of bug fixes, new function and version releases
· Cross train other team members on developed systems
· Work as a member of the Enterprise Systems team
Education:
University degree in the field of computer science, information systems or similar/related
Experience (Required):
· Minimum of 5 years prior programming experience in T-SQL
· Experience working with SQL Server 2008
· Prior experience with an ERP or integrated system
· Experienced at multitasking; assigned to multiple projects, shifting responsibilities, etc…
Experience (Requested):
· SSIS ( SQL Server Integration Service) experience
· SSRS ( SQL Server Reporting Service) experience
· Experience working with Oracle 11g and PL/SQL
· Experience working with SQL Server 2008 in a clustered environment
