ICT Manager, ICT Project Manager, GIS, Prince.
ICT Manager required for my central government client with a minimum of 5-10 years experiance with ICT management, GIS, Systems Management or development, ideally in a local government/public sector enviroment. The ICT Manager is to Lead the development, implementation and management of comprehensive ICT services across the Authority.
Essential Skills.
Ability to manage an ICT function at a strategic level including a bought in service Ability to assess and overcome problems Strong motivational skills with a track record of developing others Confident and enthusiastic about change Excellent personal organisation and the ability to organise others High level of interpersonal, influencing and persuasion skills Educated to degree level in an ICT or relevant business related subject Ideally PRINCE II, MSP and M_o_R Practitioner ITIL Foundation Minimum 5 to 10 years experience with ICT management, GIS, systems management or development, ideally in a local government environment Experience of tendering in relation to ICT and options appraisal Previous experience of managing staff to meet deadlines Experience of developing and implementing policies and procedures Working to deadlines and managing a high and varied workload Experience of implementing ICT projects Experience of working in the public sector and able to demonstrate public sector values in terms of the use of public funds Experience of advising senior managers and executives.
