One of the UK's largest retailers is looking to appoint a Chief Finance Officer on an initial 12 month contract to lead them through an exciting period. This is an unrivalled opening for a proven senior finance professional with extensive and cohesive retail experience to strategically direct and lead a well known, prestigious brand.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, the successful candidate will be fully responsible for all financial elements of a large scale reorganisation project encompassing both corporate and operational retail discussions.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Overseeing international internal controls and compliances, budgets and the full finance function of the organisation
* Leading a team of over 1,000 employees
* Managing Board meetings with regards to financial advice and liaising with Financial Controllers, Finance Directors and international finance colleagues
* Provide finance commentary on strategy and decision making at the highest level
* Playing a lead role in the re-organisation, planning and strategy of a large scale reorganisation
Essential Experience and Skills:
* ACA Qualified or Equivalent
* Strong track record of providing successful financial leadership within large retail environments
* Demonstrable ability to lead a large multi channel finance team
* Strong exposure and experienced in working for large multi channel retail organisations
* Previous experience at Board Level
* Previous experience of leading complex and challenging reorganisation projects
* Board level experience is a must
