Recruit IT has an opportunity for a Contract RPG Developer with significant insurance experience for an Australian Market Leader on an initial 6 Month contract based in Melbourne. Our client is currently in the early stages of a 3 year project undertaking a systems replacement. This is a highly dynamic environment where you will need to draw on your experience and previous insurance experience to hit the ground running.You will need the following skills and experience:
Proven programming experience across RPGIII, RPGIV, ILE, RPG/free, CL and XML.
Ideally i90 experience
Insurance industry experience
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to plan, develop standards and change control to ensure that business requirements are translated into clear specifications and stable, effective solutions.
Exposure and experience working with Legacy systems
