Technical Support Operator
£18,400
6 month fixed term Contract + full Benefits, renewal possible and opportunities to move to perm roles.

Is an International Firm that handles over £10 billion annually from more than 6,000 clients.

Main Purpose of Role:

  • Answering calls from existing agents and engineers;
  • Dealing with enquiries and solving issues efficiently through to resolution;
  • Acting as a central first point of referral for all team members, dealing with customer problems and the more complex customer enquiries/complaints;
  • Provide training for new members to the helpdesk or the contact;
  • Prioritising workload effectively, achieving agreed targets and objectives consistently, liaising with other departments as necessary and maintaining an up to date knowledge of our products and procedures;
  • Communicating with internal/external departments; Acting on own initiative to implement best practice for our customers;
  • Taking part in ad-hoc projects, to promote new products or survey agents.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Experience of working within a busy Customer Service orientated environment;
  • Experience of answering telephone queries effectively as well as complex customer queries from enquiry through to resolution;
  • Used to working in a fast paced environment that can at times be demanding.
  • Ideally ATM experience, but this isn't a must have.

  • Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent listening and problem solving skills;
  • Good keyboards skills with a high level of accuracy;
  • A well-organised individual who is self-motivated and confident and can work well, even when under pressure;
  • Someone who possesses a flexible approach to work and welcomes and adapts easily to change;
  • A good team player who is able to take the initiative when needed;
  • Someone who works well without close supervision after full training;
  • Ability to work within set guidelines and follow procedures.
