Title: IAM Business Analyst
Location: St. Paul, MN (55117)
Duration: 3 months (Contract-to-hire)

Collect and Document Requirements
Defines business needs by analyzing and documenting business processes; includes research, planning, writing user cases and project overviews, plus any supporting documentation
Gather requirements from customers to identify desired support needs.
Prepare project and system related documentation consistent with standards and procedures outlined in the applicable development methodologies.

Defining Solutions
Perform feasibility studies and/or cost/benefit analyses in support of various initiatives.
Maintain and document the logical and physical data models including data flow diagrams.
Develop as-is and to-be business process flows and data models required by the department methodology for new system development or for process redesign.
Develop, implement and monitor processes to enable required information access for users determined by their duties in the organization and to ensure that unauthorized access to information is prevented.
Responsible for helping define and improve processes and procedures to support the secure, timely and accurate provisioning of user access.
Provide analysis and recommendations to meet Business Requirements
Develop, coordinate, and maintain documentation such as: a Business Requirements Document, Business Cases, Project Plans

Communicate effectively with management to enhance their understanding of the opportunities and limitations of information systems such as Identity & Access Management Service Delivery.

General Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Sciences, Mathematics, Engineering, Business, or area of functional responsibility preferred, or equivalent 6 years of industry work experience
5 years of industry experience in a technical profession
Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross division business unit model preferred
Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business model
Ability to work effectively within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced changing environment multi-tasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner.
Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization and to complete thorough documentation.
Strong organizational, attention to detail and task follow-up skills
Adept at handling multiple assignments in a timely manner and meeting assigned deadlines

Technical Domain Qualifications
5 years experience in current Microsoft Windows client architecture and the Microsoft suite of applications which must include SharePoint, remote control software (including RDP and Citrix), UNIX, remote access software
5 years of progressively more responsible security administration or related experience
3 years experience with implementation/maintenance of an enterprise class identity management solution (Oracle or Sun preferred)
Expertise in Business Requirements and translating that need into actionable People, Process, and Technology solutions within application, database, or host layers
Understanding of Identity Management solutions within the IT industry Oracle, SUN, CA, IBM
Translating Business Requirements into actionable functional requirements, non-functional requirements, process flows, and use casesa full Business
