Description
The Wintel Design Engineer will have the ability to develop a detailed design and migration plan within a specialised technical discipline, contributing to the expansion and integration of an enterprise level environment.
Essential requirements for the role are as follows:
Experience of 5+ years with large corporations
Experience with multiple industry segments
Experience being a senior technical lead with Design/Build/Test/Deploy of Wintel technologies
Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Windows Management (MOM/SMS), SQL Infrastructure, Microsoft Exchange Migration/Upgrades and VMware virtualization.
Experience developing detailed technical solutions within a specific discipline
Experience with infrastructure and/or application relocation projects.
Experience with data centre enterprise infrastructure technologies including one or more of: Mainframe, Unix, Wintel, VMware, leveraged storage, leveraged Backup, Storage virtualisation and replication and LAN/WAN technologies.
