DescriptionLooking for Cognos Administrator - Intermediate
- Experience with IBM Cognos 8.x Installations & Configurations, in-Depth understanding of Cognos internal component architecture
- Responsible for the high performance & availability of Cognos 8 tool
- In charge of conducting trouble shooting, creating and setting up profiles
- Provide technical expertise as a liaison between developers and support team
- Cognos 8 development experience a plus.. like Good knowledge in Framework modeling, Report Studio, Power play transformer in multiple versions of COGNOS
- SQL and Database expertise a plus
- Strong expertise with tuning Cognos BI components for faster access and performance (ie Transformer, PowerPlay Cube, PowerPlay Client and PowerPlay Studio)
- Should have very precise and clear understanding about the migration utility and its usage and implementation
- Proven ability to work quickly and independently and to provide professional documentation is required.
- Coordinate with Cognos for resolution of any technical issues which requires product vendor engagement.
