Statutory Reporting Accountant - Aberdeen - £40-50K pro rata - Maternity Cover
My Oil and Gas client is looking for an experienced Statutory Reporting Accountant to join them on a temporary basis on an initial 6 month contract to prepare annual statutory accounts and ensure that they are filed at Companies House within filing deadlines.
The role:
Prepare audit files, with appropriate backup and analysis, and annual financial statements for external audit.
Subsequently liaise with external auditors.
Provide the tax accountants with accurate and relevant information and analysis.
Ensure that annual statutory accounts are lodged with Companies House within filing deadlines.
Maintain Statutory Records including Statutory Books, Board Minutes and filing of Annual Returns.
Liaise with the Operations Controllers to bring the management accounts and statutory accounts into line by booking statutory adjustments to the General Ledger.
Contribute to the continuing development and implementation of improved processes and procedures within the department.
Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Line Management.
