Description
Job Responsibilities:
Review and document the current SCADA system's model development process. Research the current SCADA system's model database. Record and document the relation between SCADA database points and PI Tags. Review current use of the SCADA system in particular to understand how the current features provided by the vendor have been used to implement extensions and methods used by operations. Review the selected vendor SCADA modelling environment, utilities and database schema. From the Data dictionary identify the common components for a future SCADA system and the deficient components. Develop a software requirements and design document to identify the deficiencies and how they will be treated. Identify, create and populate any transformation tables required for symbolic lookup between systems. Develop the software scripts to implement the transformation process.
