Our Mississauga client is seeking an experienced Manager of Switch Engineering Services for a permanent role.Accountabilities:
Build and lead a highly engaged and high performing team of Application Engineers
Directly responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of Switch Application Engineering team procedures as well as scheduling resources against workload and priorities
Oversee the daily operations of the Switch Applications Engineer group and have shared responsibility with respect to all external transaction switching gateways (eg Interac DC, Moneris, Cirrus, Plus, FIServ, CUG and EDSSPs).
Reporting to the Director Systems Development, Switch Engineering monitors the Switch Applications team in providing for the switch, tracking and diagnosing production and development issues as well as conducting testing for new clients, interfaces and
products.
Experience/Skills:
BS or MS degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience in an IT-related field
Minimum 5 years experience in a Technical/Development Team Management position
24/7 systems environment with near zero downtime tolerance
Strong experience in team/project management within technology fields
Broad background in Information Services and Technology
