Work with the Nanotechnology team to develop surfaces and coatings for future
printing systems.
Fabricate and characterize surfaces/coatings with unique properties to enable
self clean, easy clean function and possibly adhesion and release control.
Surface characterization techniques may be used in this job include static
and dynamic contact angle measurement, AFM(Atomic Force Microscopy) and
SEM(Scanning Electron Microscopy), along with more specialized technique for
offset, release and adhesion depending on the specific project needs.

Ability to demonstrate outstanding experimental and analytical techniques
Ability to demonstrate team work
Demonstrate ability to present to team members
Ability to demonstrate proficiency utilizing static contact angle measurement
tools
Ability to demonstrate general knowledge of surface characterization
instrumentation.
Education:
Minimum: BS or Equivalent from a chemistry, materials science and/or
engineering department
Preferred: MS degree from a chemistry, materials science and/or engineering
department
Experience:
Strong background in the materials science, chemistry and/or physics related
to surface science and thin film characterization.
Experience in surface characterization, particularly contact angle
measurements, is essential
Experience in solution coating of polymer thin films and other materials
characterization techniques such as NMR, IR, UV/VIS, DSC, TGA, etc. will be a
plus.
