* Finance Manager - IT Department.*
* 1 year temp contract - £60-75K per annum (depending on experience) + benefits.*
My client is currently seeking a qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA etc) to fulfil a year long temporary contract as Finance Manager, responsible for managing the IT department's financial controls, policies and spend.
Example responsibilities include -
* Working with relevant senior management to prepare and produce the annual IT budget
* Monitor the monthly spend and analyse/report variance
* Review and enhance existing processes, for example ensuring tender bids meet the needs of the Business and are conducted in an auditable manner
* Ensure that all Finance processes relating to the IT department are efficient and comply with all relevant legislation
Required experience:
* Qualified accountant
* Demonstrable experience of performing a similar position in a global, professional services firm (eg insurance, banking, law, consultancy, accounting)
* Supplier management
* Financial process improvement
* Comfortable in conducting presentations, working with demanding stakeholders and able to build a reputation as being the subject matter expert, resolving issues as they arise.
