Description
RF Engineer with strong UMTS design experience required for contract work in Texas.
The position will involve supporting DAS design projects which will include:
* Measuring the existing coverage in the building
* Proposing modifications to the existing macro network
* Support the DAS team with UMTS and GSM technical issues
As well as being proficient in Forsk ATOLL, Mapinfo and Excel you must understand the fundamentals of RF Design which includes:
* Okamura-Hata propagation models
* Monte Carlo analysis
* UMTS network optimization
* SHO/SSHO
* Pilot pollution
* Physical site configurations
You must also have experience of doing site walks and data collection (TEMS).
Ultimately you must have very strong UMTS technical knowledge with knowledge of other capacity venue designs (tuning or designs) being beneficial.
This is an urgent position starting very soon. As such you must be an existing US citizen, have a green card, have an H1B or be a citizen of a country that allows fast track access to full US work permits.
The contract will be based on Plano, Texas, USA.
