DESCRIPTION:
Our client requires the services of a Cisco Networking Specialist, to provide deliverables including, but not limited to, the following:
Work as part of the Network Engineering Server team
Participate in the expansion of an existing Microsoft Hyper-V virtual server environment
Participate in planning and implementation of dual site storage, database, and application replication to protect mission critical IT services
Participate in project teams to provide server infrastructure required by Application Development projects
Physical to virtual server migration
Upgrade Servers from Windows 2003 to 2008r2
Capacity Planning
Develop testing strategies with Application Development to test new IT services.
Documentation - Build Books and Run Books.
Knowledge transfer to internal subject matter experts and internal technical resources.
Mandatory Project Experience:
The individual must have a minimum (6) years experience with Cisco Network design and implementation
Experience with QoS network implementations for voice and video applications
Cisco CCNP certification or higher
Experience with enterprise switching and routing implementations
Experience with multi-site redundant layer 2 and 3 design and implementations
Experience with perimeter IP security Firewalls, IDS, and Web FilteringNOTE: No overseas or U.S. applicants please. As the opportunity is located in Toronto, preference will be given to local candidates. ADGA IT Systems Inc. does not offer a relocation package.
