Summary
Our client is a growing national company in Alpharetta, GA who is looking for a .NET Programmer on a contract basis (3-6 months). This individual will join an existing team of 3 to assist in completing the project. The candidate will engage in various ad hoc programming tasks in a fast-paced environment and needs to be able work well independently without detailed specifications.
The candidate should have experience creating ASP.NET web applications and have the ability to gather requirements and translate that into functional code. Must have a general understanding of business processes. Experience in programming systems that involve operating and accounting system integration (ie invoicing, purchase orders, etc.) is a big plus.
Qualifications
- Must have 3+ years experience writing C# code using Visual Studio, ASP.NET, HTML, SQL Server and JavaScript.
- Must have 2+ years experience in, and a solid understanding of object-oriented design and development (OOP/OOD/OOA)
- Experience in LINQ and the Microsoft Entity Framework highly desirable
- Must be familiar with at least one source control application (Visual SourceSafe, Visual SVN, etc)
- Familiarity with MVP or MVC coding patterns is a plus
- The ability to read or write jQuery is a plus
- Knowledge of or experience with ASP.NET Membership and Roles
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- Ability to interact and communicate with team members, management, business sponsors, and non-technical clients
