Finance/Data analyst
We are currently resourcing for a finance/data analyst to help transform theFinance and MI capability through re-engineering the systems and processes of the organisation. You will also be there to support the development of data structures for the Finance Transformation Programme and in particular for the new GL and cost processing capability.
As part of a small team, the roleholder will:
- Analyse and design a new Operational Chart of Accounts and to implement this within the New General Ledger.
- Analyse and design new Organisational Units & Intercompany relationships for the New GL and to implement this.
- Liaise with the functional and process teams to ensure that the newly developed data structures support the required processes for the New General Ledger and cost processing capabilities
Key Skills we are looking for include:
- Strong understanding of accounting in a financial services organisation
- Experience of developing/implementing general ledgers and/or cost processing solutions.
- Experience of developing data structures for finance & accounting systems
- Strong stakeholder relationship management and negotiating skills
Skills which will be beneficial:
- Qualified accountant
- Knowledge of SAP FICO, SAP BFC
