Structural Designer job #2736 – Columbiana area, Ohio
Northeast Ohio manufacturer of pre-fabricated structures is seeking a Structural Designer to fill a Contract to Permanent position.
- Drafting for Pre-engineered steel buildings and other structural fabrications.
- Detailing of structural fabrications.
- Drafting of architectural building projects including site work, mechanical, electrical.
- Ordering materials (from quantity takeoffs on drawings).
- Interacting with vendors, and customers.
- Overseeing of some fabrication shop activities.
Requirements:
- Must have 2-D AutoCAD (emphasis in structural-architectural design).
- Must also have 3-D AutoCAD Inventor familiarity,
- Drafting degree (or completion within a year),
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with Structural fabricating, Construction (especially commercial), CNC programming, Business background, Fabrication/machine shop experience; are all big pluses.
