Description
My Client is a leading Aerospace Manufacturing company and they are now looking to recruit an experienced Certification Engineer. Ideally from from an Aircraft interiors or composites manufacturing background.
Job Purpose
The appointed Certification Engineer will ensure that company design is certified to EASA or FAA regulations and satisfies the contract specification.
Produce the necessary reports to demonstrate that the design satisfies all relevant EASA or FAA regulations
To undertake the checking and releasing of detail, sub-assembly, general assembly and installation drawings.
Preparation of schemes and provision of technical support for test programmes. To analyse test results and report findings.
To provide 'support to production' services including investigation to queries raised through Design Query Notes and Non-Conformity Reports, production permits and concessions and any other matter where production time scales are potentially adversely affected.
Experience
Previous experience in design organisation involved in aerospace design.
Familiar with current EASA and FAA regulations in particular CS-, 25.562, 25.783, 25.785, 25.787, 25.789, 25.791, 25.853, 25.855 and 25.869).
Excellent reporting and communication skills
Flexibility, ability to work under pressure
Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering degree/appropriate engineering education.
