Title: Quality Assurance Tester
Type: 1 year contract

Quality Assurance Tester
Provides an overall management function that determines, defines, and implements QA/QC policies, programs, and procedures, to data management, analytic, and programming activities and products. Uses analytical tools to quantitatively measure quality, reports on findings, and makes recommendations on changes to meet specifications and quality standards.
Perform software testing which includes but not limited to the following tasks:
- Writing test plan, test scripts, test cases and Use Cases based on Business and/or functional requirements
- Execute test cases and Use Cases in the designated software application(s)
- Report software bugs in clear and concise language
- Collaborate with Programmers, Project Managers, and Business Analyst to develop resolution to software problems
- Perform stress and system performance test on application as directed by Project Manager
- Writing test report
- Coordinating software security vulnerability assessment and 508 compliance scans
Preferred skills and experience include the following:
- CDC and OPHPR contracting experience
- CD Performs application hands on experience
- Hands on experience with HP Service Manager, HP Quality Center, and Fogbugz
