This position is with the State of Georgia Dept Of Education, a completed background must be submitted along with your Resume.
This individual must have Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience to create and manage test plans, test cases, and test scripts from use cases. This individual must have experience using Visual Studio Team Foundation System (or similar defect tracking tool) and using SQL for SQL Server. This individual will manage test artifacts and take responsibility for project deliverables. This individual will manage, create, execute, and deliver test cases in a timely fashion. This individual may be called upon to mentor other Quality Assurance individuals. Experience in all testing phases is preferred.
Major Position Responsibilities:
Run in depth testing, diagnose problems, recommend solutions, and determine if program requirements have been met. To be able to perform functional and regression testing on web-based applications to include use case analysis, test case creation, and test execution. To be able to communicate software application and all Quality Assurance related issues to the necessary team members. To be able to translate requirements into various testing documentation deliverables such as test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Required Skills:
2+ years Automated testing experience using C#.NET and MSTest.exe or Similar (nUnit, etc) 5+ years of experience in the various testing phases - Functional (System), UAT, and Regression
5+ years experience in creating Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Metrics and Test Status
5+ year's experience in using testing tools to plan and execute software testing, log defects and enhancements, and help support software development efforts
Strong communication, presentation, meeting, and technical writing skills
Solid understanding of the SDLC process
3+ years of experience testing customer facing websites and .NET applications
3+ years experience with custom software applications
