Description
Stellar opportunity for a senior level Network Solutions Architect who has global experience! This is a long-term, contract position that can be performed remotely with some travel required.
DUTIES:
1. Acts independently and advises on/or manages the solution development of large and complex consulting engagements spanning multiple service offerings with an emphasis on global network services.
2. Acts as an authority on multiple service offerings, industries, or functions, and displays a deep working knowledge of others.
3. Understands customer requirements and advises client/account delivery teams on highly specialized, complete network solution architectures and implementation.
4. Applies expert business skills and consulting methodologies to collect information for assessment needs and deliverables.
5. Creates executive presentations of engagement results and presents them to client executive management.
6. Scopes engagements and provides expertise during sales proposal preparations.
7. Influence the strategic architectural direction while leading large and complex engagements. 8. May act as a temporary specialist advisor on many projects.
REQUIRED:
1. 15+ years of network infrastructure design and architecture.
2. 15+ years of consulting/client facing experience.
3. Infrastructure related sales, sales support or delivery function experience with emphasis on Networks.
4. Subject Matter Expert in Global Networks design and Network Architecture.
5. LAN/WAN and Capacity Planning.
Strong communication (written and verbal) and analytical skills.
6. Technical writing for preparation of senior level executive technical reports.
EDUCATION:
Undergraduate degree required. Graduate level degree in Business/Management or MIS preferred.
TRAVEL:
Must be willing to travel up to 30% of the time both domestic and internationally.
