This highly visible position reports into the Head of Business Performance with the overall purpose of finance business partnering for all types of costs across the business, providing focused and value adding decision support ensuring that financial targets are met and plan and budgets are prepared and are achieved.
The role will have accountability for the company's operational cost base and will interface extensively with senior management in providing in depth understanding of the cost structure, driving efficiencies as well as challenging business plans and assumptions.
A key part of the role will be the management of the Cost Budgets (forecasts, short/medium term plans) as well as the overall Costing Model, including customer costing, product costing and standard unit costs at transactional level.
To be considered for this role, you will be formally qualified (ACA, ACMA or MBA) and you will have proven leadership experience. You will have significant, high-level experience in costs systems, ideally from a banking background.
Head quartered in London, but you must also be prepared to travel from various locations in the UK mainly in the South of the UK.
